Getting started
What is an eSIM?
A digital SIM built into your phone. You install a data plan by scanning a QR code instead of inserting a card. Your regular SIM keeps working for calls and texts.
Will it work on my phone?
Most phones from 2019 onwards support eSIM, including iPhone XS and newer, Pixel 3 and newer, and Galaxy S20 and newer. The phone must be carrier-unlocked.
When should I install it?
Before your trip, while you are on Wi-Fi. The plan only starts counting days when it first connects to a network at your destination.
Do I get a phone number?
No, the eSIMs are data-only. Calls and messages work through apps like WhatsApp, FaceTime and Telegram.
What if I run out of data?
Top up from your account. The extra data goes onto the same eSIM, so there is nothing new to install.
Can I pay with crypto?
Yes. Besides cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay, you can pay with USDT, BTC, ETH and other coins.
Can I get a refund?
If the eSIM has not been installed, you can ask for a full refund within 30 days. If it does not work at your destination, support fixes it or refunds you.
Troubleshooting
I installed the eSIM but have no internet
Make sure the Piqqie eSIM is selected for mobile data and that Data Roaming is turned on for that line. Then toggle Airplane mode on and off.
The QR code does not scan
Use the manual installation option with the SM-DP+ address and activation code shown in your account.
Can I reinstall an eSIM I deleted?
Most eSIMs can only be installed once. Contact support and we will help you.
Can I use the eSIM on another phone?
An eSIM is tied to the first device it is installed on and cannot be moved.
